How Is Filler Foam Produced?

Polyethylene is a thermoplastic product used in a wide variety of products. It takes its name from the monomer ethylene. In the plastics industry, it takes its name as PE.

Polyethylene foam cutting is a type of packaging produced in cutting presses using different materials to offer both product-specific support and appearance elegance. Filler foam is a type of product that prevents scratching of the product, especially the polyethylene foam material, which is formed by cutting it in 3-4 cm dimensions and breaking it into small pieces.

Although its features vary according to its density and type, its flexible structure, good resistance to moisture and economicality increase its usability in many places. We, as industrial cutting, use filler foam material in the following application areas.

Application Areas

• The use of fillers in the electronics sector, after choosing a special size box, box, case selection, cube, prism-shaped filling material in the desired size, the scratching of the material we will carry is prevented.
• Products that can be used recycled are used as filler foam separators in the automotive sector.
• In the transport of food material, it is made with smaller polyethylene, cut.
• In the promotion sector, product-specific cuts are made, sometimes in letters or in more specific ways, and the packaging can be given an identity in filling foam applications.

By using 1-2 mm thick white filling foam products on the lower parts of ornaments such as porcelain, it is ensured that it stands upright and that the product is fixed. These products can be banded on the back and have the feature of being combined in heat.

Red polyethylene foam products have antistatic properties and are made according to special production. The white ones, on the other hand, are seen in a very different sector, but if the back is covered with a film, the stretching feature is also prevented and the tearing is gained. Non-flammability finishing can be added to such applications and flame retardation is provided.
